Good Mentalism Lecture

Postby MentalMagic Man » Nov 22nd, '08, 04:18

Hello everyone. A while ago I had watched a great mentalism lecture by Derren Brown. "The Derren Brown Lecture." I enjoyed it very much, and found it informative and helpful. :)

I was wondering if anybody knew or would recommend any other good lectures on mentalism. I enjoy learning mentalism from lecture. I find it very nice and helpful to hear a good proffessional performer teach about mentalism.

Does anyone know of any other good mentalism related lectures on DVD? If so, then what are they?

Thanks,

-Hugo

Not technically a traditional lecture - but there are plenty of DVD's out there which will offer not only effects, but great thinking and theory behind the performances.

A few good examples:

Banachek's Psi Series

Richard Osterlind - Easy to Master Mental Miracles Series
Richard Osterlind - Mind Mysteries Series
Richard Osterlind - No Camera Tricks

Max Maven - Videomind Series
Max Maven - Nothing

Marc Spelmann - Marc Spelmann Collection

Andy Nyman - Get Nyman

There's a lot more than just that, but that should hopefully get you started.

What about live lectures? I'm not sure where you're located, but perhaps you can look up lectures in your area?

Osterlind, Maven, Nyman; the list goes on. I am rather fond of Get Nyman, although it is strictly speaking not a lecture.

Wow! Thanks!

I'll enjoy looking at those lectures. Thanks for the list of DVD's Demitri. :D

I'd also enjoy looking at any other ideas if anyone has more.
I think these will be enough to keep me busy for a while though.

Thanks,

-Hugo
