Soon to visit London - Looking for a Magic Shop

Postby vago » Nov 3rd, '04, 06:58

Hi,

I'll be arriving for work soon before christmas and i would like to find a magic shop.
Where i live, we don't have magic shops and i need to order everything by mail with 15$ mailing charge.
Anyways, I'm doing card magic mostly, if that matters to your respone.

I saw the post about

There are more at:

Hope that helped.

Jamie

The web site is down, and i'll give Davenports a call.
If you know of other places or if you recommend somewhere else, please reply.

Also, I guess that from morning till evening i'll be out for work, so i'll hope they'll be open nights or on sunday.

Thanks

International Magic won't be any help, unless they've radically changed their opening hours in the last eighteen months. They don't stay open late (in fact, they shut around 4:00 or 4:30 on a Saturday) and I don't think they open on Sunday.

It sounds to me as though you are going to be staying in London for a little while. Is there any reason you couldn't do mail order here? The magic companies I use almost invariably post stuff the day you order it (unless you call very late in the day) and the postal system is such that you usually get the items next day.

I suppose if you are out at work all the time, including Saturdays, you might not be able to collect the parcel.
