According to Teletext Page 132 this morning, Channel 4 have filmed a pilot of a new show called Dirty Tricks, tentatively scheduled for broadcast early next year, which is described as big stage magic but with the feel of street magic - plus blowing things up. Hmmmmm. Considering their success with the Derren Brown shows I hope they know what they're doing.
Just to put it in context, the same person is also responsible for a new show featuring chef Gordon Ramsay playing pranks on the public (yawn, yawn, get me Jeremy Beadle on the phone please) and includes getting people to walk a cow up and down to make it more lean (which way?) and a game of Bingo where the numbers are replaced by swear words.
