Xmas Novelties

Postby moonbeam » Nov 29th, '08, 22:18

I can't believe that Xmas is just around the corner again .... bah, humbug.

Well, there I was minding my own business, when my missus came home earlier today, with something she bought in Asda.

I know that this won't be to everyone's taste, but it certainly made me laugh:

Anyone else got any good (or bad!!) Xmas novelties that you'd like to share with everyone ??

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Well I've just driven back from Dudley and on the main Birmingham Road there were houses fully decorated with flashing lights, waving santas, and dozens of fairy-lighted trees! On November 30th!!!! Never mind the bad taste of having an animatronic santa sat on your lawn, it's not even blooming Christmas! Christmas Day is the first day of Christmas! It's advent that leads up to Christmas, and it's not even advent yet!

>sigh< regains composure....in ye olden days folk decorated their tree on Christmas Eve. Why? Because Christmas was just about to start. Thank you.

Now I must get to Toys R Us to buy a remote control Wal-E before they all sell out! Out of my way old woman, I've got a trolley and I'm not afraid to use it...

Oh I love that dog, he's fantastic. I've got a little westie in a Christmas hat who sings 'I wish it could be christmas everyday'.

And talking of Christmas, I think it's time for Christmas Tinkerbell to come out again :D

This struck me as funny and strange, the article beow it explains it all.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.
