What is the name of this vaguely described effect?

I saw, a while back, somebody perform a card effect that would now slot nicely into a routine I'm working on.

It's going something like this:
A Card is peeked at, or selected and returned to the deck. The four aces are removed and shown face down and when they're turned over, one ace, matching the suit of the selected card, is face down. The performer spreads through the deck and a card is face up matching the value of the selected card.

The card can't be found and when the face down ace is turned up, it is the selected card.

I have a feeling I saw Michael Krass perform it, but I can't be sure!

Anybody recognise the effect from my awful description? If so, a name and where it can be found would be lovely!

I'm sure you can think of a way to do this...

I don't know the name of that effect sorry... If you didn't know it I had no chance.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I came up with my own method, but it's obviously nowhere as near as sleek and refined.
The routine, I believe, was published and therefore will have been performed and perfected many times, thus it is the version in print I seek:)

Sounds a lot like "Hofzzy Osbourne" from Dan and Dave's Trilogy DVD's.

Video here.

The description is rough but it sounds like the Hofzinser Four-Ace Problem, one of the oldest four-ace routines in history.

I performed Hoffzy Osbourne in one of my old Westmount Magic videos. So yes, you saw me do it :P.
