This isn't a magictrick more a puzzle.

Last night on BBC FOUR at 9pm they had the latest addition of mind games in which one of the celebrity puzzle was to release a kecklace that was conected to a spectators finger and so was your finger. the celeb did a sort of cats cradle move. can some one please tell me where i can find out how to do this. they showed the answer but i need time to work on it and see it again

thanks alot

I think that Mind Games is repeated a few times throughout the week - I'll watch out for this and it may be worthwhile setting the video recorder.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Mind Games will be repeated on Fri night/Sat morning at 3.00am.

So, the big question is "is it worth taping"? :?:

Here's what the BBC listings say:

Mind Games

Can you time nine minutes exactly using just a seven-minute and a four-minute hourglass? Quizmaster Marcus du Sautoy quizzes Kathy Sykes, Michael Rose, Helen Pilcher and Peter Duncan.

BTW.
If they run for 4 minutes and 7 minutes, why are they called hour glasses?
