is there a mentalism feat/trick that you could do over the board? similar to doing it over the phone? cuz if you could that would be hella cool

This is a rather strange post...

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Somebody reminded me of this one recently.

Craig may well remember it.

that wasnt that impressive. I was more impressed with the suspense he built up. I want something where the performer is spot on.

In which case, may I suggest you come up with a routine of your own, rather than trying to get somebody else to do one?

I would also suggest that Craig and others may have something to say about whether "spot on" is more impressive than having some near misses in there as well.

I believe the link I gave you suggests that it IS possible. Whether you feel it wasn't impressive enough or not, your question is answered.

If you don't feel it was that good, apart from the tension, would you have preferred less tension and spot on answers, or the tension and close answers he gave?

Reading through, I admit I was wrong to post that thread as an answer. You did write about a trick, whereas that thread was an entertaining performance of magic and mentalism.

 I've heard of such things being around for both, chat room and Tex Talk on Cell Phones but those are things I am very ignorant of in that I have a hard enough time making either piece of technology work, let alone doing tricks. :?

Check with some of the younger guys out there like Luke Jermay, Wayne Houchin, maybe even Sankey... I honestly don't know.

There's an over the telephone poker effect in Karl Fulves Self Working Mental magic. I've never tried it so don't know if it's much cop but you might want to take a look at it.

The noughts and crosses prediction in MWCCIM could propbabaly be done over a forum if you were to PM the prediction to a mod or someone before hand.
