I have been an avid amateur for decades. Recently I have taken an interest in mentalism so I just purchased "Docc Hilford - Monster Mentalism 4-DVD Set" for $120 and will receive "Master Mental Miracles - Richard Osterlind 4-DVD Set" as a bonus. This should get me started.

I'll try to leave a review in a few weeks.

I suspect that the greatest challenge for a mentalism is the inherent lack of entertainment value--but I think I have a natural talent for story telling/comedy etc. so will try to combine the two.
