QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I noticed Art of Astonishment (A.O.A), DL and TT both shorten to the exposure-less terms you see before you (they were typed longhand)

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

And yet terms like 'gonad', 'vas defrens' and 'frottage' slip through unscathed!

the b.f. becoming Bananafish might prove embarrassing one day, because a lot of people describe their boyfriend their "b.f." in online posts... I can picture so many scenarios

Yes, weird. I don't know what happened there. Should have been in the 'Swami help' thread in the Support & Tips forum. Sorry.

Sorry Ted, if you'd like to copy and paste the post into the original thread I'll remove this one!

And I, having once again failed to keep up to date, will now comply :)

Also the forum automatically removes certain naughty words to asterisks but wierdly leaves others in which are just as bad.....

For example idiot - which didnt say idiot but a term for a male person who does the five knuckle shuffle..... gooooo on you know ya wanna try lol...

I had some trouble with a quote that named a common farm bird that begins with c- and ends with -erel. "Rooster" got through, though.

Reference to c---ing a gun fell foul of the censor as well.

I suppose "c---ing up" would too, although it's a perfectly innocent printers' term with the same etymology as the gun. Letters that are c'd up sit too high in relation to the print line.
