BUSKING TIPS.

Postby LucyBater » Jan 13th, '09, 12:25

Hello everyone.
For my final year project at Uni, I am writing a magazine containing a series of features on busking.

One of the features is 'How to be a sucessful Busker.' Ten tips from buskers for buskers.

Please please could those of you who are great at busking (or just earn a few pennies from it,) provide me with your best tips. Please also add you name and where you busk.

Thanks guys xx

Can't you talk to actual street buskers?

I don't think this website is the best place to look. It happens now and again, but busking isn't the most usual setting for magic.
Also being a new user without an introduction (and even with) most people wouldn't feel comfortable giving out names and addresses.

Check out this site http://www.buskercentral.com/buskers/blog.php you should find some useful stuff there.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

Give them what they want rather than what you like.

Jean Eugene Roberts writes, in part: "Can't you talk to actual street buskers?"

And what are we? Chopped liver?

Anyhow, Gary Dickson's post sums it all up in very few words.
