Not sure what you mean. If you have some text you'd like to put in your post you can just highlight it, right-click on it and then select "copy". Then when you're writing your post right-click again and select "paste".

If you want the text to appear as a quote you can place it between the following BBCode tags: [quote] (your text here) [/quote]

Probably not explaining myself very well. I often ask a question and someone can refer me back to a previous post. They put a link to that post in the text. Thats whats I am trying to do

you see the buttons under the subject section when posting a reply/new topic?

find the link you would like to post (part at the top where you type in the website address) hilight it and right click then press copy. then paste it here and click the button which says URL

example (without spaces between brackets) [ url ] http://www.something.com [ /url ]

or [ url= http://www.something.com/ ] click here [ / url ] gives you ;

click here

hope thats what you mean lol...

If you do - find the section and post that you wish to quote from and press the "quote" buttone on the top right ................................................................................./\

You then get the words and BBCodes in a post type box - you can edit the words from there.

:D

Easiest way is to go to the post, single click on the address bar at the top (the bit that starts http://www.) so it's completely highlighted in blue (if it doesn't highlight the full line, just highlight everything from http to the end). Right click anywhere in the highlighted area and from the pop up menu select COPY. go the the thread you want to post in, post a reply and in the message body, right click and select PASTE, this will paste the URL into the body like http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic28569.php (a link to a needy but well meaning person in need of advice :oops: )

Hope this helps.
