Help wanted

I didn't know where else to put this so I've put it here :-)
Ok I need some help, I'm looking for someone who can work wonders with photos.
What I want is someone who can make a person on a photo look older using a pc. I have no skills in this area so who's up for the project?

Help Wanted

:D Why not take the pic then get a local actor who has some skill in stage makeup to make up, the person in the pic, looking older' same suit etc of course.
It can be done quite easily with an eyebrow pencil , smoothly, lightly, shading in the 'lines'(really shadows),down from the nose towards the chin; shade in bags under the eyes. Add small shadows on the temples. Then, use, either white pancake to sponge lightly onto the hair or even talcum powder will do it.
Get the 'older person' to lower his eye lids, A LITTLE, before the pic is taken. Often the eyes are a giveaway when a very young actor puts on an older character makeup.
A hat and spectacles also helps age a person.

Thus you will have the young pic and the older pic. easily.

Thanks for that, that idea had passed through my mind, not sure if I'll have the time to find someone and then find someone who can do the make up.

There was a website that you could upload photos to and it would age them. I can't remember what it was called and I can't see to find it but it did do a very good job.

Perhaps someone else knows it?

Dave do you mean age the photo or the person, it's the person I want to age not the entire photo :-)

Do you have Photoshop? This link might be useful to you, or maybe a friend who dabbles with the software: http://www.computerarts.co.uk/tutorials ... _photoshop

Try finding an older wiser looking person, and ask if they have a piccy from when they were younger?.....

Well actually im sayiing find someone who really doesnt look too well, and find one from when they were younger, that way the photo will also be aged just so, you can then copy as necessary to adjust the size of the photo for what you want...

Yeah that's similar to the site that I'm thinking of, but the one I've got in mind was free.

On the Derren Brown blog sometime ago he mentioned a site that did something along these lines (I think) and I'm pretty sure it was free. Might be worth trawling back through the last few months of posts on there.
