The 'replacement' Ian mentioned was Gordon Bruce who stepped in at the last minute when David Acer experienced immigration difficulties ('What's the reason for your visit, Mr Acer?' 'Oh, I'm here to do a bit of work'. BZZZZZZZZT! Oh no you're not, Curly!). Mr Bruce gave a very entertaining talk and demonstration. The gala: high points and low points, but a million thanks to Jon Archer for saving the day at a point when - frankly - things were tanking due to an (IMO) excruciatingly misjudged act.
Overall the Session was brilliant (again) and I'll be booking next years ticket as soon as it's available.
