Im no expert, but i dont believe for one nanosecond there was hypnosis involved in that.

I would advise against trying to figure out Derrens method here.
They edited they cr#p out of this. It is rare that Derren can be accused of over editing but for this effect he makes the average Chris Angel effect look completely live.
