Naked Mentalism Volume II

Postby MickyScouse » Jan 23rd, '09, 14:15

There are no reviews on the lulu site and I've scouted around here and have been unable to find any (there's probably one in the restricted section). Can someone post a review for those who are not worthy? I really enjoyed volume 1 and would like to hear peoples opinions on volume 2.

I think Dr Todd wrote a review in the Mentalist's section when it came out. Maybe if we ask nicely, Mandrake will move or copy it into the main reviews section.

Please Mr Mandrake, hear our plea!

Ok, more a Review-ette than a review but here it is .....

Naked Mentalism II is ready to go and fully loaded (officially available on 11 July) with an expanded arsenal of stats and insights for those of us who just love psychological forces. The volume focuses primarily on the use the 'primes' to increase your hit rate, with a whole new discussion of ideas, as well as a few new effects that are based on his notion of 'popular mental heuristics' that people use when we ask them to think of certain things.

Check it out here: http://stores.lulu.com/booksbytomo

Amazingly, if you look at the site, you will see that Volume III is also in the breech...(how's that for a consistent use of metaphors...how many of you thought of gun when I asked you to think of a weapon )....

Oh hell, suppose I'd better write one...

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.
