Closing trick

Postby keymaster » Dec 10th, '04, 09:42

hello, im currently creating a routine with a few different tricks, inc. Jon Allen's double back, Fadeout, colour monte, and some tricks with regular cards. What im after is something to finish my routine off. i would like it to be something visual, examinable, and to leave an impression on the audience.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. Thanks

As you appear to be doing all / mostly cards, I'd suggest Colour Fusion. There's lots of reviews to read on this.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Without a doubt I would recommend Jay Sankey's In a Flash.

It is a great trick to finish with and it meets all of your criteria.
How much more visual can you get, their borrowed, signed coin burns through the pack and stops at their signed card !
Everything at the end of the routine can be examined !
They will talk about this one for ages, after they pick their jaws up from the floor that is !

As long as you have no restriction with fire (flash paper is used) then I think this is the killer finisher that you are looking for.

Just watched this again - love it even more!

I noted that Jay uses a quarter but not knowing anything about American coins, is this OK with UK and perhaps Euro coinage? I imagine that it will be but can you advise on the best coin sizes?

Not sure about Euro coinage but I presume there will be a coin that is of a similar size.
I use a 10p coin and this works fine.
