With setting my xbox 360 up on to a network. I have set it up previously on a dongle but since then I have got a wireless connection and when I tried to connect again it just keeps failing the IP ADDRESS test, any help would be much appreciated. Oh and I have already enabled DHCP in sharing, not that I know what that means but the xbox faq told me to try it. Thanks in advance for any help.
To be specific it say: Your console was unable to negotiate a lease with your DHCP server.Make sure addresses are available on your server

What are you trying to connect to, a router or a modem? What make/model?

you need to run it so that you have the cable running from your PC to your router and then another cable to your 360. I should warn you though, while this is what I use, the 360 won't always pass the Ip test. My friend and I were setting his up and did it the same way as mine and for some reason couldn't pass that test so he went and bought a switchbox from Radioshack and ran it through that and it worked.
