I made this video a couple of days ago for a friend of mine to criticise my performance and I thought I'd also post it here for you to take a look at it as well. It was the very first effect with cards I ever learned.

Any advice or comments are very welcome.

As German an not English is my first language I hope you will be able to understand me ... or as the Frenchman Francis Tabary put it:

By the way, does anyone know who invented this effect? I have no idea.

Well performed and technically sound.

My only criticism is how far away the camera is! It's close up magic! Either get some Jumbo cards, or perform it where we can see a bit more clearly!
