Here's the ad copy;
THE UPGRADE PACK IS FOR THOSE THAT HAVE THE ORIGINAL COINVEXED.

THIS WILL UPGRADE YOUR ORIGINAL COINVEXED TO THE COINVEXED SHARPIE EDITION

DO NOT PURCHASE THE UPGRADE PACK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL COINVEXED.

David will I need to take the original plus dvd to Blackpool as proof of owning the original, will it be a swap old for new or do we just buy the upgrade? Just want to be prepared for any occurance.

From what I can tell, you won't be able to use the upgrade pack without coinvexed 1 anyway, so if you buy it and you don't own it you're only wasting your money :)

Anyone who doesn't own the original and is naive enough to order an "upgrade" and expect to be able to perform Coinvexed, deserves everything they get. It is an "upgrade pack"; the clue is in the name. If you buy the upgrade pack without owning the original, what exactly is it you're hoping to upgrade?

What is it they say about a fool and his money? :wink:

I own the original, I bought it last year at Blackpool from David. My question was do I need to take the old one including the dvd with me in order to get the newer one so I remember to pack it when I go this year.

If the upgrade is an add on to the original then fair enough I don't need to take it with me but if the upgrade's lower price means giving up the original as a kind of 'downpayment' for the lower price then I wanted to make sure I packed it.

Am I saying it wrong? :P

Replicant has answered every question possible with his statement. Nothing else needs to be said.

CV2 is excellent and a definite improvement over the original version in terms of how you organise your pockets. Can't say much more without exposure, sorry :D .

I saw it at Blackpool, had a quick chat with David but didn't feel £45 was worth the upgrade for an already pretty damn fine way of bending a coin. Surface area of the new design had a big part in my decision too but I'm saying no more.

Having seen Mark playing with his at Blackpool (Ooops, inuendo on the way !!), I think a bit of clarification is needed.

CV2 is not an upgrade, its a complete improvement on CV1. Both effects use 2 gimmicks. CV2 comes with one similar to the originals and a new type. But the effect is complete, you do not need to own CV1 to be able to perform CV2, but if you do own CV1 you only need to buy the cheaper upgrade of one gimmick to be able to perform CV2. Mark, am I right ?

I gathered as much and can infer what the second gimmik is from version 1. Just with all the pre-convention hype I was expecting a lot more talk!!!
