The Bigger Book of Boo is a book that you want if doing séances is your thing. I found it to be a really good read. It gives a number of séances that is aimed to entertain those around the table. It gives patter and lays out the bare bones to making your own props such as your own candles that will go out during your presentation.

It suggests that a séance don’t have to be over the top to weave its magic. It is the small things that cause chills to run down the spines of your spectators.

It is not a book for everyone. If you are not interested in this field of entertainment then pass on this. Designing and conducting a séance is MORE work then you can imagine. You REALLY must be a good story teller and actor. You must appear to be able to see, talk and feel the other side. This type of entertainment is very hard to perform but at the same time so very rewarding.

If the other side tickles your funny bone, then I recommend The Bigger Book of BOO!
