Stained Skin Tatto Training DVD from Ellusionist.com

Postby Spanky » Feb 6th, '09, 21:07

Hi everyone,

I have search the forums but have not found anything.

Has anyone downloaded (From ellunsionist) or brought this.

It looks and sounds good but not sure of what you actually get.

I know you get the dvd but do you get gimmicks with it.

Any review or comments to help me decide if to buy this would be great.

I know the source would be biased, (and ellusionsit has been accused of deleting unflattering posts), but wouldn't the website have customer reviews?

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

Magic Magazine gave away a pack of four Ellusionist tatoos recently which are most probably related to this training DVD.

My recommendation - don't waste your money.

This isn't magic

I remember a past issue of Reel Magic also included some "tattoos"; not sure if they were related to the Ellusionist thing, though.

they were Ellusionist and this is where I got mine from - not from Magic magazine as suggested (memory playing tricks in my old age  )

I recall that on that particular edition of Reel Magic there was a demo performance using the tats and it wan't anything to write home about.

You don't need gimmicks such as theses

Prob best to just search ellusionist to discover they are not held in much regard!! Overpriced, overhyped etc etc!!

I will confess to one dvd helping me when i first got started but beyond that steer clear!!

I've had a fair number of DVD's from E in my time, all when starting out and it's true to say that tastes change as you become more educated.

They perhaps have their place - a bit like the Janet and John books in infant school (if you remember those).

What a forum such as TM allows you to do is to learn from the collective expereince of others and thereby avoid making the same mistakes.

So, exactly as Jordan writes if you want to progress faster - then don't go the 'E' way as it will invariably 'stunt your development'.

and your bank account...

you can go on amazon, buy 4 books for around twenty five quid, and have loads of interesting adaptable magic for a very long time...though i understand the excitement of seeing all the bright and shiny things online..

It's enough to last anyone for a long long time.

Annemann's book contains a fabulous T&R card routine. It's a great little book. The Scarne book is pretty good, too. Actually, it's very good.
