Absolutely gutted...

Postby Mark Waddington » Feb 9th, '09, 10:43

... because ive had my wallet stolen this morning.

Had a fair amount of cash in as I planned to put some money in the bank today, had all my cards in there (cash cards, credit cards, equity cards etc) had my driving licence in there, and to top it off - it was myabsolute favorite Jerry o'Connell wallet that took me forever to track down and buy.

Absolutely gutted - just hope I get all my replacement cards before Blackpool.

What a lovely way to start the week - im so upset about it

well, if your lucky they will open it up the wrong way, and think that it's empty :)
Seriously though, do you know where the wallet was lifted?
when toerags do this, the first thing they do, is find somewhere close, empty the wallet, and drop it on the floor.
Ive found several over the years.. all empty.( some rather nice though )

Yeah, I know exactly where Ive had it taken - it was during the only 2 minutes I got out of my car today.

Reported it to the police, cancelled and had replacement cards issued - just need to find a new Jerrys wallet in time for the next gigs.

Just waiting for the police to go trawl through local CCTV. Ive rung up the garage to say ive reported it stolen, so im wondering if someone there has lifted it. If they know the police are involved (and if it is them) then it might propt it to be miraculously found.

Oh well, best of British to everyone!

I lost a stealth this way, I'd only had it about 2 weeks, not even played with it! I felt sick. Thing is I know who ever got it would have not know what it was and thrown it away!

Oh no, that's really horrible! I can't understand why people feel that it's ok for them to do this sort of thing.

Are you really really really sure it was stolen? Check the car, especially under the seats - I once thought my wallet was gone but it had fallen out of my pocket as I got out the car and there it is was hidden away under the driver's seat. It's worth a look!

Checked the car completely 3 times now. Its a new car, so I even ended up finding new secret compartments I didnt know existed!

Guess what???

SOMEBODY FOUND MY WALLET!!!!

Pretty much everything is still in it as well! It was found in a carpark near my office.

So, does anybody want to buy the brand new JOL billfold wallet I bought this morning to replace it???

And returned it with money in? See, there are some nice people around.
I lost my phone a few months back and someone rang me up and posted it back to me. so nice.

Anyway, how much for the wallet?
