Hello from bonnie Scotland

Postby David Deanie » Dec 6th, '04, 15:34

been meaning to join here for a while- actually thought I had a while back!

I have been interested in magic for a while- I have a big long story of how I started in magic but the abbridged version is as follows:

Had a book on magic by Jon Tremaine-loved it, went through every trick but then I had so many interests it was put to one side. Later on I had a book on origami which was great- I then discovered it was by the same author! one thing lead to another, I joined the glasgow School of magic, it changed to the Glasgow magic circle (as if by magic!) and I continue to get more involved in magic!

I still hold the trophy for the Scottish young Magician of the year and have won the glasgow close up competition for the last two years. I work regularly in restaurants and private parties,

hope to be able to contruibute and recieve insight on these forums!

Welcome to TM David - as you probably know, we have quite a few Magii from North of The Border so you're in good company. The ones South of the Border (down Mexico Way!) are OK as well!

Hi David!

It's me - Dave Benedict.
Glad to have you on board.

Think you'll enjoy this place - it's quite different from the GMC!

welcome to the forum... hopefully your stay here will be enjoyable

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..
