Postby gunnarkr » Feb 12th, '09, 11:46

As a fan of Mark Waddington, I received this announcement:

If anyone is in the Midlands area (around Birmingham), then you will be able to see the fantastic Mark Waddington perform at Lea Hall Legion Club, Stetchford (B33 8LJ) on:

    Saturday 30th May 2009
    7.30 till 11.30
Night description as follows:
Lea Hall sports & social is bringing holiday entertainment to the Midlands featuring

The fantastic Mark Waddington (comedy/magician)

on arrival you will be greeted by Mark who will be performing close up magic right in front of your very eyes, which will leave you in total amazement.

Then, its time for party dances with the kids before Mark takes to the stage to perform his laugh a minute comedy magic show (this is aimed towards adults but is child friendly) called "Too Lazy to get a Real Job..."

During this time we will also have free face painting for under 10's and free balloon modelling for all the family

    Tickets are priced
    £6.50 adult
    £2.00 child
or family ticket 2x adult 2x children £10

For more details you can contact the host, Baz Jones, on 07886384023, or by emailing ads.entertainments@yahoo.co.uk

Does that mean half price admission - or double the price  ?!

Not sure if I can get there as it's the back end of the Bank Holiday week but will know better nearer the date. Either way, hope it goes well for you - it's a long way from your usual stomping ground isn't it?

No probs, I'm happy to pay to get in although I don't really want my face painted - last time I had that done they rubbed me down with glasspaper, applied two undercoats and a top coat of Paradise Green Dulux Gloss - ...

Glad to hear you're going National - next stop Las Vegas!
