I've just been approached to join a new forum, registring allows you to get into the secret bit straight away where people will be discussing the methods of magic. Wow! Why would a true performer of our arts join such a board? If I'm going to talk secrets with anyone it will be people I know and trust, not anyone that can just sign up and not have to prove there metal! This has made me a little mad. Sorry for ranting!

What I find amazing is how many people you will find in a legit forum, such as TM, who scream about such sites and yet we find a plethora of such groups and Torrent/P2P file swaps that someone is supporting.

I was taught long ago that DENIAL is the first symptom or "proof" that someone has a problem. It is quite interesting how many folks deny having anything to do with this sort of site and yet they and BoodTube get tons of support (hits).

Here's one for you... why do so many people know about all these exposure sites or the video's that are posted?

Has anyone realized that the more we bitch about it the more our "adversaries" become emboldened?

When the film "Last Temptation of Christ" came out, it saw tens of millions of dollars worth of FREE PR the brought about exceptionally high ticket sales, all as the result of the Right-Wing Christian element screaming and picketing. Had they kept quiet and just let things run course the chances are quite strong that the film would not have been as widely successful as it ended up being. The holy roller rants still having effect in that many rental companies refuse to stock the film and net work television refuses to air it; all of which stirs curiosity and thus, demand.

I'm not saying that we need to simply ignore this sort of thing and hope it goes away, only that we need to stop being so "loud" as it were and predictable when it comes to the HIGH DRAMA we see every single time this sort of thing is discovered.

It's something we all need to pause and contemplate, I believe.

CLIFFSMITH... if you read the rules of this forum you know that what you are doing is not allowed... then again I don't think you care in that you don't respect magic in the least and obviously, you have no respect for the members of this or any other forum given your little sneaky game of using PMs vs. a public posting -- YOU KNOW IT'S WRONG!

The moderators are very much aware of your antics and I would highly recommend that you not try to rejoin this forum under a new identity if and when they boot you out. We will discover who you are.

Consider this a friendly warning... either grow up or LEAVE!

I received the same invitation from CLIFFSMITH, but at a different Forum to which I belong. Seems like this youngster is making the rounds.

I certainly hope and would think that no professionals would support that site. Hopefully that will help it keep away from too much exposure. WHo knows though... how does one stop something like such forums?
