Ace effects in general, particularly the Classic Assembly (Slow Motion or MacDonald's).

I would like to help -- name the card tricks that they have already seen. I will name some that are not listed (if I know any that you have not already shown).

Hi Bob

I am curious... are you a Teacher? If so, are you showing tricks to your students?

The only reason I ask is that when you say...

"everyone at my school wants more but they have sucked me dry"

I was wondering if you are actually showing them how to do the tricks or if you are just performing.

Don't worry, I am not having a dig, it is just that I am being a bit nosy and I suppose the type of help we can give would to a certain extent depend on what you are actually doing with the magic.

Regards... Tony

Hi Bob

Are you a foreign student Bob, only your posts are a little unspecific.

As Robert has suggested, why don't you run us through a more detailed list of the tricks you know and of the tricks you would like to know. Of course we are not going to give away secrets out here in the open, but we could recommend videos, books and perhaps even sites you could visit to improve your magic knowledge.

Think you've probably got the wrong hobby if you don't want to spend money! Have you tried looking at cardtrick central? I'm not sure what the address is but if you use google I'm sure you'll find it, there's loads of card tricks there.

Allow me to suggest that you use different revalations. For example - before hand write out on a napkin "You will choose the 9 of hearts" and show the napkin after they have choosen the card or mentally devine the chosen card or judge by touch their choosen card or riffle the deck and listen for the choosen card to be missing.

All of those are the same trick (pick-a-card and you name the card without seeing it) but the different ways you reveal the choosen card can make it seem like new tricks.
