Just got in from a New Year's party and was wondering if anyone else found a use for the leftovers of the humble party popper.
I was using three and a crumpled up piece of tissue paper for an impromptu version of the three shell game. It went down very well with everyone and seemed so innocent as it was just stuff lying on the table.

I wonder if a cups and balls would be possible ?

Forgot to mention on the last post that they were handing out silly hats for everone to wear and I got the only cardboard fez (a la Cooper)

Well I suppose this isnt magic, but its realated to party poppers. The traditional ones look like small wine bottles when turned upside down right?

Well some newer (?) type are cylinder shape and bigger than traditional poppers. The good thing is you can reload them (even though it is stated not to) by squeezing and pulling the bottom bit out.

There are 4 bits. The outside cylinder, the base, which you twist, with a sort of 'key' sticking up, a spring, and a ejector that has a hole in it matching the key. You will see how it is fitted together.

On the ejector bit, there are two grooves round the rim. Also there are two grooves in the main cylinder (in the bottom) make sure once the mecanism is asemblem you put it in, LINING UP THE GROOVES.

Now just stuff it with what you want.

I find that the actual party popper itself can make an excellent impromtu TT, but choose a red coloured one or similar, as a green one might get noticed if your not careful

How about incorporating a TT with a little liquid in (easily obtainable from any glass on the table) and pouring this from the empty 'bottle'
