Nice to meet everyone at long last.

Well, everyone who turned up. You know who you are...

A good meet, highlights included:

Dini being the life and soul.

Greedo thoroughly entertaining a hen party, then introducing me at the height of his success.

Me then crashing and burning with the world's easiest routine.

Part-Timer's honesty when asked if he'd be there next time: "No."

Mr Grue and Greedo competing for the Magic Monkey Most Drawn Out Routine Award.

I'm going to totally ace him next time. Did you know, for instance, that 32 faros bring a deck back to its original state?

Once bitten...

No, it was good fun, and the time flew past. I hope to make it to another meet soon.

Just probably not in March!

Ah leave it out Snuffy and the artist previously known as Abraxus, you were good but not quite good enough to make it into the hall of lame this time round is all. Perhaps you should have entertained more deaf clowns or worn rings on fingers that rings should not be on. We all know who I'm talking about.

By the way I'm really keen on the idea of an Ashford meet again soon. And definitely not because I live there. Any takers?

I am slightly annoyed that I couldn't make it to the meet. I was busy redecorating my house after the electrician took a bit longer than I anticipated to rewire my house. On the plus side, I was in the area today and was stocking up on some supplies from the Rymans outside Charing Cross station, which made me feel a bit better.

Can't do that one, I'll be up a mountain looking darn cool in my snazzy snowboard get up. Heads will turn as I stride manfully towards the baddest-assed black run in the Alps, slickly snap my up-to-the-minute boots into their bindings and slide nonchalantly into the snow covered trees before vanishing with a jaunty flick of my tail.

Shortly thereafter I'll get a lovely ride in a helicopter, all the way to l'hopital as them Frenchies put it. Knees are overated anyway.
