I just made a post on a completely different and other forum with the Title, "It's About Time!" Exclamation point and all. Just found it freaky. Maybe it's my psychic ability coming into play. I have been practicing a lot recently.

Disturbing people who hold those posters.
I would catorgorize myself as a Christian, but I do not believe in what they are preaching. They are clearly sick people. It is about time.

It's obviously not God who "hates fags", but the bigots holding the placards. Luckily, there are strong laws in this country to prevent such ****s spreading that kind of loose stool water here. They prevented a fascist Dutch MP from entering the country last week to show a film comparing Islam to, er, fascism!

I take heart with the belief that these bigots are a dying breed. The world's a small place these days, and it doesn't take much searching to discover that they're talking scheitt.

I always enjoy how such bigots choose to quote the old testament and never the new. How is that Christian?

CORRECTION... they cherry pick the passages they want to use for supporting their bigotry but when it comes to their not living up to the same Old Testament laws they explain that JC's murder absolves them via the "New Covenant" vs. Levitical Law

What's funny is how much in the Old Testament condemns some of the Born Again Jerk's favorite things like Football (it is forbidden to touch the hide of a dead pig) or those summer clam bakes on the beach (shell fish is a major taboo)... there's a huge list. Then again, there is a great deal of debate within theological circles pertaining to the relationship of Jonathan and David; a relationship Jonathan's father was quite angered over, ultimately chasing David out of the kingdom... Jonathan meeting up with him in the foothills where they laid with one another and knew themselves as man would a woman ... or so the story goes...

We of course should ignore all the wife swapping, child molestation, incest and of course all the acts of general genocide when it came to Yahweh's penchant to slay and smite those that didn't kiss his glowing hinny... and that's all in the first 5 books of the compilation :?

I personally believe everyone should read the bible at least once (along side the Koran and other noted "Holy Books" that are out there) simply so you know what it really says. I find it disgusting, the number of young people in our world that don't even know the most basic of biblical tails or for that matter 1001 Arabian Nights, etc... but let's not get me started on the education system (especially here in the States) and the lack of investment so many parents have now days when it comes to being a part of the life for their child. :x

I suggest everyone watch the Penn and Teller Bullsh!t episode about the Bible, it'll tell you how.. well.. bullsh!t the bible is. Picking and choosing passages? Yeah. Contradicting itself? Yeah.

And I find it disgusting the number of people who don't read Build Your Own Web Site The Right Way Using HTML & CSS, 2nd Edition by Ian Lloyd.

But seriously, I've never read the bible cover to cover because I don't care what religious teachings are, because I'm not religious and I don't attack religions (I just let them be)

Oh my, this topic suddenly got hot. Sorry mods...

I think it's a good decision. A few people are harping on about freedom of speech but I agree with David Milliband: there's no freedom to yell fire in a crowded theatre.

I'm happy that our little country has looked at their activities with distaste and said a nice British "no thank you."
