New routine!

Postby stevebo » Feb 16th, '09, 15:11

Hey guys.

I haven't posted a video in a while so I thought I'd show you something that I created. It's essentially an ambitious card routine where the card turns face up in the pack rather than coming to the top, but with a slight twist.

Hope you guys enjoy this

Steve

I like it, but I had hard time to follow what was happening. :?

I liked, that it worked so smooth. :)

Thanks!

Yeah... it's probably a bit long of a routine. And especially without the patter, the trick can be a bit hard to follow. Hopefully you can imagine what it would be like with patter. (I just don't like my voice recorded. Maybe I'll make another video with patter soon though.)

Ya, I actually can, because the patter focuses on whats important, and it can even focus the audience away from whats not to be noticed, but since your vid was patternless and still able to not give away anything(like where the manipulations went), your patter would just need to focus people on how to follow the magic.

And nobody likes your voice on tape ;) jk nobody likes his own voice on tape, and I hope that I don't sound rl as I do on tape, cause I feel I myself sound like I was "Mr. Uber-Smart" with every word that leaves my mouth, and I hate such a tone.

The music is "sky high mountain breeze - naomee" from the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue soundtrack.

It was really good one. Smooth, of course.
Since I've never seen the cards before, I thought it was pretty

Well... Dan was quite bleh about it. But then I did surprise everyone with the four Aces so that was cool :-). I missed out the half pass and Ego change though.
