Define talented? If your specs enjoy themselves and you are comfy with a gimmick...they are none the wiser and entertained to boot! You may already be as talented as some at "performing/entertaining" even though you may not be as talented as others "mechanically" It is always about the end product...some drive a GM others a Ford...some use gaffs/gimmicks other go strictly regular deck...that does not define talent level in anyway.

I just pull decks out of my pockets while performing, open them - go through the deck and say "nope, that's the Svengali... nope, that's the stripper deck... Nope, that's the marked deck. One second folks, and I'll find that ID here, somewhere".

That way works for me, and it's far less suspicious than keeping the Murphy's Magic Supplies wrapper on the deck, with the name on the front.

I've also found that simply writing an abbreviation next to the barcode is fine. Mine used to be (don't use special decks, these days, really)

S - Svengali
W - Stripper (holdover from the "Wizard" deck)
I - Invisible
P - Mental Photography

etc, etc...

Just to the right of the last number in the barcode in a matching color to the card backs, and I've never had a single person notice.
