The tea is poisoned. They both die, but the first guy dies somewhere else.

The ice used in the drinks was poisoned. Because the first guy drank his quickly, the ice didnt melt. The second guy took more time, so ended up with poison in his drink

True I just didn't know it was made by putting ice cubes in tea.
