I recieved my order from ellusionist a few days ago containing the black gaffed deck http://www.ellusionist.com/order/Black_Deck/gaff/Gaff-Deck.htm, I's still waiting for the Black Book to accompany it. Anyway I went through the pack and found the 3 DF aces (one for some reason is repeated twice in the red and white section but is ace of clubs) to do the four card assembly or whatever its normally called and found out that the deck is slightly miscoloured to the normal black tiger deck. The cards look normal on there own but in the middle of a normal black tiger deck which there meant to be used with they stick out a mile, not a good thing when most the time you definitely dont wwant to draw attetion to these cards. Anyway I'm just about to send a complaint to ellusionist and I'll see what happens.

Surely it would be possible to disguise this, with simple sleight of hand.

For stuff like at the end of Four card assembly as it is called in mark wilsons book of magic where the aces all appear in one stack and thenat the end the rest of the deck is shown the DF cards look suspicous which doesnt help and id you are to get rid of these cards from the deck in the first point it defeats the point of using DF aces.

I've got my reply back from them and they say that its like that with all of them because it is impoosible unless the situation is exactly the same to get the black ink to look the same, out of interest I looked at all my black tiger decks which happened all to be exactly the same colour, I dont know whether it something to do with the fact that its got reds and other colours in it. They offered me a full refund but I guess that means minus shipping and then id have to pay to post it to elluisionist. They kindly called me a very discerning magician as well.
