Hungry and angry are English words both ending in "gry". There are three words in the English language; what is the third?

Agreed - depending on which answer you want, it is either "What" or "Language" :P

A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him,

"You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison."

After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?

Well that killed that one a bit then

What English word is nine letters long, and can remain an English word at each step as you remove one letter at a time, right down to a single letter. List the letter you remove each time and the words that result at each step.

Your shadow

There once was an evil wizard (Mandrake). He took 3 woman (Queen of Clubs, Lommy and Magic Chris) from their homes and turned them into rose bushes that looked exactly alike. He put them in his garden. One of the woman (Magic Cris) had a husband and children and begged the wizard to let her see them. He agreed. At night, he brought the woman to her house. In the morning he came and took her home. That day the husband (Craig) decided to go rescue her. So he snuck into the wizard's garden. He looked and looked at the 3 identical rose bushes trying to figure out which could be his wife. Suddenly, he knew the answer and he took his wife home. How did he know which rose bush was his wife?
