Well, I have just come back from dinner with a friend and he's literally been dribbling at my Twister Reality, Twilight Angels and the myriad of other stuff I just *happened* to have ready in my pockets :)

haha - even the waitress was joining in and was truly astonished; it was quite literally my first *public* performance and she loved it!

I am sleeping happy tonight, I genuinely feel a buzz like none I have ever felt before; awesome!

Hello Midge25,

'The Weirdling' isn't in Art of Astonishment, I don't think. It's by a man called Michael Weber and the True Astonishment set comes with some specially printed cards to perform it - although when these run out, it should be straightfoward to prepare something similar. It looks quite like Roy Walton's 'Card Warp' but is a bit... weirder.

Hope this helps,

Max.

I'm ashamed to say that having been nowhere near anything magical, other than a deck of cards for a little over a month, I hadn't heard of it. The first I heard was when someone who had ordered one, just happened to be picking his up as I was browsing.

I've got a little money spare, and I don't know how much prices have dropped by, but mine is under £240. Although, if it's as good as the reviews say, I would have been happy to spend more. Now, if only it would arrive before saturday.

(aah, it's nice to be back on the forums again!)

All the best,
Croz

 I was showing someone 'weirdling' the other day and realised that at the end when you tear off the 'phone number' part, you are (with a slight change of handling) in a great position to go straight into 'the ultimate rip off' torn and restored effect!

Paul Harris Query

Postby The Last Deck on the Left » Jul 8th, '09, 15:30

Hi there,

Quick question regarding this box set - I've heard that Paul Harris doesn't actually teach anything, only just gives a few comments after some of the effects. If so, why is that? I've seen the new Souvenir Linking Rubberbands dvd by Paul Harris, and again he's not on this. In fact, the magician that teaches it - Joe Russell, doesn't even get a mention on the cover!

This isn't a critisism of Paul, it's just an observation and I wondered why this is the case?

Cheers,
