Mainly want to check out the wording etc for an effect Im playing with.

Too true! There are a few methodologies knocking about in one of the secret forums, if I'm not mistaken?

I think this is an effect that's pure presentation, I mean if C.A had asked the kids to pick a card out of a deck and hide to under a cloth, then reveal the exact same card would you wonder how its done?
There are literally thousands of ways of doing this, especially since (and I'm not criticizing here) Criss has been known to use stogies.

Just think through your knowledge of magic techniques and methods and come up with something that works for you.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

I think Chris was only asking for a link to the performance (as he says he is already working on a similar effect). Personally, I'd steer in the opposite direction!

This is an effect I always rather liked. After thinking of different ways to influence the outcome, I came up with a method that could appear to use verbal influence, but is actually completely free choices made by the spec, with a bit of window dressing to make it all tie together. It might not be the most practical, but I think it would be a pretty cool effect.

I'll have to dig through the archives to see if I can find that old thread.

Now I really dislike Criss Angel - smoking cigars in a classroom full of small children!

Oh get over it, smoking is cool and every kid knows it.
