sorry this is for cards only.. im looking for a trick where a spectator chooses 1 card and another chooses a number between 1-52 and at that number is the 1st spectators card... does anybody know the trick, who its by etc if you want to post here or pm me id be really grateful... stuart

It is traditionally known as ACAAN, or any card at any number.

There are tonnes of methods out there. I use on that utilizes a memorized deck, estimation and a pass.
There are a lot easier versions out there, which I suspect is what you're looking for.

Try "Martini" by R P Wilson. It's available from his website, and although a memorized deck helps, it's not necessary.
