I am wondering who manufactured the arrested development tv show's magic props used by the charecter GOB?...specifically the saw a woman in half?.thanks for any help.

I am thinking this may be harder to find an answer to then i originally thought.Here is a question for the forum...any idea where i should ask that may know the answer? any other forums or companies mabye to ask?.thanks,

I think David Avadon is the adviser for the magic stuff on that show. It might be worth dropping him a line.

I can't say for certain but the majority of the magic seen in those shows are rented from one of the major builders such as John Gaughan, Bill Smith or Owens sometimes private owners like Gay Blackstone, Johnny Thompson, and Mark Wilson. I know when I was managing things for Kirkham we rented out some of the antique equipment several times to the studios.

There are times when something custom is made for a show so as to not tip the workings of legit magic systems. I'm not familiar with that show so I can't say too much as to who would be involved but these are the typical players when I was in Hollywood.
