What a great shop - I love this place and it's almost the exact opposite of Davenports. Excellent atmosphere and customer service.
I spent three hours in there this afternoon chatting to other cardies and seeing Marco doing various demos, including a great impromptu card warp. Liz made us all a nice cup of tea. Ken showed me what I was doing wrong with my Faro and I ended up buying a few things, including the fantastic Mnemonica and an Eddie Gibson 10p flipper. Everyone in there is so friendly! And apologies to Marco for palming his card.
Then we went for beers, swapped "war stories" and tried out a few old favourite tricks and new ideas. And on the way home I popped into another pub and wowed the locals with the newly learnt card warp and a few Lorayne routines.
What a great day! If you've never been to IM it is highly recommended!
That does sound impressive. They open quite late, though

I've had a good experience of the service at Davenports. In the past I've only ever run up against problems where they were out of stock of some quite basic stuff (red-backed Bicycles, most recently, and a swami gimmick a while back).
I love IM. I've twice been in there for near opening time, to near closing time. I get on with Sadowitz, which of course helps and love to take the p*ss out of Marco!
Well done on Mnemonica, brilliant book. Learn it properly.
