Hey all,
This is doktokaro, from Indonesia. I'm fairly new to magic, have only been doing it for about a year (errr, and doing it seriously for the last 4 months

As of late, I've been digging magic like never before. Typically, ya all know how most started: magic is confused with curiousity! I was curious to know how to do this and that, and learned new tricks and new tricks, but as time went by, I realized that I have done pretty much nothing. I only knew how to do it, but not actually do it myself. In fact (I'm actually embarassing myself here heheheh bear with me!), magic wasn't really something I would really do, let alone spending my money on it. But then I realized the beauty of it.
So then I cut short my curiousity, and went back to the basic stuff. The shuffles, the flourishes, the cuts, the ambitious card routines, and those stuff. And ya know, even more, lately I've been more into reading articles with topics like "why doing it like this? why even doing it?" Well really, my perception on magic has changed greatly. It's still a hobby, but I don't look at it with eyes half closed anymore, but with a great passion now

Anyhow, my favorite magician is Canada's David Acer and Michael Ammar. I'm still amazed at what those guys could with their two hands, even after watching their videos over and over!
Though, my style is nothing like those two. I'm more of a "only speak when I need to" magician heheheheh, and I usually do magics to my friends and my girlfriends (and whoever else who's not bored by the trinary cut to ammar's razzle dazzle!)
My other interests are music (mainly guitar, and i listen to punkrock, ska, hardcore, classical, jazz... ) and philosophies.
So yea, I've seen the posts here and I see this board is rather more active than most magic boards out there. So I thought I would join.
And with this closing, I humbly ask for guides and helps from fellow magicians

Thank you so much!
