Dr. Jaks Four Blacks

Effect:

4 black cards are removed from the performers wallet and are shown to be solid black on the front and back. These are then set on the table.

A pack of cards is then given to the spectator to cut the card to where they like. The place they cut to is marked.

One of the cards is then chosen and placed within the place cut by the spec. The black cards then has the cut card printed on it in red.

Review: A great effect with only one relatively simple sleight. I have changed the patter quite dramatically to involve a story of 4 brothers looking through a haunted house, One of the brothers then falls in a chest (the deck of cards) and his brothers find nothing but his blood stained corpse. This i find to be very good but there potential is unlimited.

The cards are very well made and are glossy. you will need an extra set of bikes.

Rating: 8/10

Where: I bought it from Davenports for £4.50 (i havent looked on the internet but it should definately be available on davenport's website)

you could probably develop a patter for doing a trick in the hands, but i dont think it would work to well. Sorry!
