Why do we have so many different threads on this same topic?

This has to be at least the 3rd if not 4th thread I've seen started on this piece. Most likely due to the lethargy of those that don't want to use a search feature or else the simple need for attention... I can't figure out which it is, I just know we don't need so many threads on the same thing in that it creates redundancy... not just in the topic but in answers and responses.
