Either suits me - Coal Hole has more rooma and does London Pride - Lychee is not always so crowded.

I won't be there until late anyway - stuck at work til 4pm so probably wont get there much before 6pm

I'm 50/50 about whether I can make it on Saturday. If I can, it'll probably be another 6.00 pm exit. While the Lyceum would be a blast from the past for me (used to go in there a lot, back when the drink was OK in there), Samuel Smith's pubs have bloomin' horrible spirits. And not of the séance variety.

The drinks at the Coal Hole are much better, but it is pretty hectic in there.

MORNING!!

I'm fine, no hangover.

Last evening has to be a nominee for best TM meet so far....

It's not often you get a very rich lady very drunk, she buys a load of rounds, offers to fly you to L.A to do a gig and then needs taking back to her hotel as she's completey munted.
To then go on and create chaos in another pub just takes the biscuit

I'm strangely very similar in that I have no hang over either!

That can't be said for all though :)

It was a top night I have to agree, I don't remember how to get to that bar last night but lets start in there. I'll use my trusty A-Z to find it on Saturday.

I'll email that lady an keep in touch, she was so nice.

Right then

Saturday 4th April
1pm Onwards
The Maple Leaf
41 Maiden Lane
Covent Garden

Here's the blurb...

The Drink
The bar itself is a large one and so it’s only right that it should stock a vast number of wines and commercial spirits, and it does just that. Its selection of beers is a good with a few unusual choices. There are Fosters, Becks Vier, Kronenbourg and Staropramen on tap along with the India Pale Ale. There is also a good list of bottled beers, too.

The Last Word
The Maple Leaf has a good heart within its rather cheap and grotty shell. It’s great for sports and a good place to get rowdy in groups.

Grand National innit!
