Magic tutorial

Postby s.stanton » Mar 28th, '09, 17:09

Hello please could people post up links for card tutorials

I know there are a lot of people showing card tricks on you tube but don’t really wanna learn of them, if they are doing the tricks wrong and don’t wanna start picking up at bad habits

Ive got a brainwave deck, svengali deck, black deck, ID and a few gaffs card

As much as I like buying dvds and appreciate the people that make them it’s just costing load of money

If people could send me links or post up would be a help

Many thanks

I think you're implying that you want free tutorials, fortunately this is a no exposure forum so it wont be possible to do such a thing but I can reccomend Royal Road To Card Magic which is a great book if you're looking to start out in card magic.

Sounds like you're after a quick fix. There is no quick fix in card magic. Put aside your brainwave, svengali and invisible decks for now - you won't be needing them. Buy a copy of the book 'Royal Road to Card Magic' and a copy of the DVD 'Born to Perform', a brick of Bicycle cards, and nothing else until you've worked your way through the book thoroughly.

That's not the answer you want, but it's the answer.

that is what hes looking for but that is not the stuff we provide on this forum
iI would advise you to take down that link or else it will be removed and in all likely hood so will you.

you did get that much partly right. this forum is here to help you with tricks you already know, not to reveal or teach new tricks. We will gladly point you in the direction of material that can teach you something new, we dont teach it. so yea. no we dont give tutorials if you truly want to get started in magic I would suggest getting Royal Road to Card Magic and starting from there
