Huddersfield Circle of Magicians

Postby derek » Jan 19th, '09, 23:07

2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the Huddersfield Circle of Magicians. We will be celebrating this with a special show in Huddersfield at the end of June, as well as a number of other exciting events in the area throughout the year.

We would also like to take this opportunity to invite any magicians living in the Huddersfield area to join us. Get to know other magicians locally and take part in our calendar of events, lectures and shows. We meet twice a month on Tuesdays in Huddersfield,

So if you are interested, please get in touch. Either PM me here or email me at stolz@stolzmagic.co.uk and I’ll get right back to you.

Thanks Derek, congrats on reaching your 60th (not you personally of course - unless you've reached the same milestone and fibbed about your age in your Profile!) please keep us posted about the itinerary and any other aspects of the celebrations.

I wish I knew there was a club in Huddersfield back in my days as a student there..... The joys of the Milton Hall, sponsorised beers and cheap bacon butties. The good old days, I've gone all melancholic now

Milton Hall is now the Drama Department ... where I lecture on drama and magic!

I'm looking forward to the LBT show in July!

It's all part of a larger degree in drama, part of my focus is short modules in (what Burger, Hass, etc. call) 'performance magic'.

The Students Union is now in a shiny new building :)

Come visit us again Nik with your students, we all enjoyed the evening last year. I'll send you a list of events we've got planned for the year.
