Walking past a Cardiff Jazz bar yesterday, a very zooty looking fellow emerged and asked me what was on at St David's Hall that night.
"Derek Acorah" I said.
"What? What kind of music is it?"
"Not music," says I, "mediumship."
"Oh no!" says the chap, eyes rolling behind his shades.
Cheered me up some. Odd though, jazz and mediumship has a lot in common; an obsession with dead people and a love of making it up as you go along...
