I managed to get two tickets last night from seetickets.com For the Adelphi Theatre on the 24th June (Friday) Have a look at some dates on there you may still be able to grab some tickets without having to pay through the nose on eBay if you are lucky! I think mine were £45 each.

ahhh.. can't wait to see the show now! I'm going to the Adelphi 10th of July. One of the last shows, so I really hope no one ruins the ending for me....

I'm not crazy about hypnosis though, so I hope that's just a small part of it all

He threw frisbees a long way into the audience (and upper circle) to pick random helpers. The front row was called on mostly to verify things briefly.

If you're frontish and reasonably accessible, and have an easy-to-read analogue watch, you might be a lifesaver. He tried borrowing about half a dozen watches on Sunday (and actually broke one) before finding something suitable. Everybody thought the broken watch was a joke, but the owner was at the stage door afterwards and showed us the bits.

I hope by then that he has the show together! APART from the ending and the sentimental effect, I genuinely think that his standards have dropped. He is so much better than that show. He spent ages looking for a watch in the performance i saw (which ithink tipped the method) and his props (slates) fell apart on stage TWICE. Now don't get me wrong I have nothing but admiration for this inspired performer. But it is that high regard that made me feel like this was written in a rush. Enjoyable for a layman I'm sure but i really didn't feel it. Had I performed that show i would be over the moon....but Derren has set his standards so high.

Let's hope it was just a bad night, although i just think it was the worst of the three he has performed.

Sorry Derren fans (me included) but it's true

Richard

Went to the Lowry last night, he did an excellent show, got a watch first time and all was smooth and professional as usual.

I thought this was and excellent show, especially the seance types effect, i have a great interest in the history and methods of the victorian mediums, so found this very enjoyable.

I went with 6 friends and they were blown away by his performance.

Great ending too!

I'm going to see his show at the Lowery in Manchester tomorrow, anyone else from T.M. going to be there?

In fact quite strangley i am currenlty reading an old book 1930 s, on mentalism, got home after the show and went to bed did a bit of reading the next page i turned to, one of the effects that Derren performed last night was described in it. Spooky :D

I have done that in two books actually and they were the first two pages I turned to. The books were practical mental magic and the other was an adaption from Karl fulves self working mental magic so it just shows Derren gets his work from all the classics that are recomended to newbies.
