for a booklet that is only 20 pages it seems a bit pricey, but I'm quite tempted.

does any one have this?
is it mainly technique or routine?
i've found a few copies at around £25 is it worth it?

I can't comment on price - that can be a bit arbitrary. You should know, though, that the Vernon routine is the basis for 99% of the routines out there today. I'm not saying this is a good thing - I would love to see some creativity. I can give you a long list of C&B routines that are very much NOT Vernon's, and are wonderful. Fred Kapps and Ross Bertram (who had several completely different routines) spring to mind, but there are many, many more.


You might be able to find a cheaper copy.

would you not be better off buying a copy of ganson's dai vernon book?

vernons cups and balls is in there.


it costs between 25 and 30 pounds new, and has far more than just the one effect in it, ( which is the same as the one on the pamphlet)

I second the recommendation for the Dai Vernon book of Magic. I think it almost essential reading for anyone in magic who has an interest in sleight of hand.

Yup the Dai Vernon book is a must and does contain the full cups and balls routine.

However if you can't afford the £30 odd for the book then I've just found the cups and balls booklet available from Magic Books By Post for £4.99
