Dark Seance tomorrow

Postby pcwells » Apr 27th, '09, 08:47

Hi everybody!

I'm hosting a Dark Seance on behalf of Fright Nights tomorrow evening.

It's happening at the london Irish Centre in Camden, and runs from 7pm to 11pm.

Tickets are available here

How will my normal Manic Pete persona translate to the role of seance leader?

Come along and see! :)

Pete

It was very entertaining.

I feel a little sorry for those spirits though, sleeping for 500 years and then getting woken up to move a glass around just for our entertainment.

Aye. Nice to see swine flu making a show on the board too! :)

I did feel the evening was marred a little by a group of malevolent spirits. :x

I think they'd been at beer rather than spirits.

Interestingly though, beneath all the p*ss-taking and gigling, some of them seemed genuinely nervous during the glass moving session and dark seance.

I also noticed that I wasn't the only one wishing I'd brought a cattle prod. Some of the audience were getting mightily miffed as the evening went on. :(

It was D that confused me the most; taking things very seriously, properly emotionally invested in the whole thing, but unaccountably had come with a load of @rseh@les.
