Hatton.

I predicted the fight wouldn't last more than 4 rounds, I also predicted that Hatton didn't stand the slightest chance.

I should really start heading to the bookies.

I'm glad that I didn't make the effort to watch that one.

It was £14 badly spent.

Anyone who honestly thought that Hatton stood a chance needs to take the Union Jack from between their legs and get real!

The Vegas betting odds would always be an indicator for me. Heh...it should bug me though, I'm a Filipino. I don't like our boxer though, he had about a hundred ads in our local tv and I would vomit at the sight of him.

What a waste of £15- and I haven't slept for over 30 hours so am still on a caffiene induced high. It makes you wonder what hatton and co. had been doing over the past 7 weeks- practicing walking in straight lies with your gloves around your waist? Telegraphing left hooks to the point where Pacquiao cold have had a pint and still landed the shot. Pathetic. I hope Hatton retires now with some of his former pride and glory intact...... :( :(

Floyd was absolute fuming after the fight. They had been specifically working on Hatton moving his head, and working the ring properly and he goes in walking straight forward with no guard.

All credit to Pacman though, that shot was disgusting.

Guys you are being too harsh on Ricky. He went out on his shield. He made a stupid tactical error - he went in and banged away with a faster and more accurate opponent. He threw caution to the wind, but he did that because he has the heart of a warrior. Of course he should have listened to his trainer, shown some lateral movement, and held back. But then he wouldn't have been Hatton.
And how can it have been a waste of £15? You saw a master at work. That's worth any money. You can tell your grandchildren you saw the great Manny Pacquiao at his best.
I remember an announcement that Julio Caesar Chavez was to fight in London in 1990. I was broke, but I got the money together to get to London. Unfortunately the fight didn't happen, but money spent to watch a great fighter is never money wasted.
By the way, Roberto Duran went out in a similar way to Hatton, when he fought Thomas Hearns. He was clinically taken apart in the first round, then knocked out cold in the second round. It didn't end his career. He won several significant fights after that, including taking the middleweight crown.
Although Hatton might not be in the class of Mayweather or Pacquiao, he is a great fighter and hopefully he will give us some more great nights.

I had a great night.

Started with the London TM meet, then met with some mates down a second boozer, several games of poker, some mario kart on the Wii, lots of booze, some ok boxing and a 12 hour hangover.

Hatton was completely out classed though. He'd have lasted longer if he'd run around the ring in circles away from the fella

I can't stand him. He's a thick, illiterate, arrogant, rich chav jerkoff. I didn't even know he was fighting, but I'm glad that someone knocked his block off. He is just a white Naseem Hamed - arrogant and totally over-rated. If he wasn't a boxer he'd be sitting in a bus station with his hat on the ground with a skeletal greyhound on a frayed rope.

Yes indeed. Lying on the canvas, he was heard to say something like, "Tell Queenie I did my best."
